Need legal help but unsure where to turn?
These services are available under our Pro Bono and Low Bono programmes, depending on community need, available capacity, and alignment with the public interest.

Other Community Legal Services

We believe that justice must be accessible to all — not just the privileged. Our community legal services support individuals, grassroots groups, and under-resourced institutions that lack the means to defend their rights or uphold their causes. From urgent personal cases to long-term advocacy, we provide legal pathways where none may seem available.

Our services include:

Free Consultations
Vulnerable Group Cases
Public Interest Litigation
Legal Workshops
NGO & Charity Support
Animal & Eco Advocacy

Free legal consultation for low-income individuals: We offer one-on-one legal consultations to people facing civil, family, or administrative issues but unable to afford a lawyer. This includes guidance on how to respond to legal notices, court documents, or employer disputes, as well as referrals where appropriate. Sessions may be held in-person, virtually, or during community outreach days.

Pro bono representation in vulnerable and marginalised cases: We represent individuals from marginalised groups — including survivors of domestic violence, persons with disabilities, elderly citizens, and religious minorities — in select matters where rights are clearly at risk and systemic injustice is at play. Priority is given to cases with legal urgency or where the party faces intimidation, poverty, or lack of support.

Strategic litigation for public interest and justice reform: We participate in or support litigation that challenges unconstitutional laws, unjust government decisions, or harmful policies affecting broader segments of society. Our team collaborates with rights groups, public interest lawyers, and scholars to design cases that have the potential to shift legal standards or increase institutional accountability.

Legal workshops and outreach in mosques, schools & civic groups: Through education, we empower communities. Our legal workshops are tailored for local realities — covering topics like women’s legal rights, children’s protection laws, the justice process, digital literacy, and peaceful dispute resolution. We collaborate with religious leaders, teachers, and community organisers to maximise reach and understanding.

Support for NGOs, charities, and faith-based organisations: We help mission-driven organisations navigate laws affecting their formation, funding, compliance, and public engagement. This includes support with constitutions, trustee responsibilities, tax exemptions, due diligence, and responsible communication — all vital for long-term impact and integrity.

Advocacy for animal welfare and environmental justice: We advise and support citizen initiatives that speak for those who cannot. From stopping animal cruelty to pushing for ethical farming or conservation zoning, our role includes legal awareness, complaint drafting, support letters, and — where necessary — litigation. We work closely with educators, activists, and faith-based stewards of creation.
